Corrections
Last updated August 2026
We'd rather be right than look right. When we publish something inaccurate, we correct it promptly and say what changed — we don't quietly edit the record and move on.
How we handle a correction
- Factual errors (a wrong stat, date, name, or result) are fixed as soon as we confirm them, with a note on the piece marking what was corrected and when.
- Significant errors — anything that changes the meaning of a story — get an explicit correction line at the top of the article, not just a silent edit.
- Typos and small clarifications we fix without ceremony.
Found something wrong?
Tell us. Point to the specific claim and, if you can, the source that shows it's off — that's the fastest way to get it fixed. Accuracy in front of a fanbase that knows its stuff matters to us, and readers catching our mistakes is a feature, not an annoyance.
